Photographic Prints... All of the silver gelatin
prints (black and white photographs) were entirely handprinted by
the artist. They are printed on fiber-based paper, which is archivally
processed, and mounted and overmatted with 100% ragboard. The matting
is included in the price of each print.
The handcolored prints
are as above, except after processing they were individually hand-painted
with oil paints. The handcolored prints are made in editions of
not more than 25 prints, some in smaller editions, and due to their
handmade nature there has always been some slight variation in the painting from
one to the next within the edition.
The holga panorama images
are printed digitally, by the artist, using archival inks, a very
high resolution printer, and fine art paper. I am printing these
about 6.5" tall, and with the lengths slightly variable, but
mostly around 17". They are matted 16" x 28".
The bromoil prints are
all printed and inked by the artist. They are available in variable
editions of not more than three prints.
The black and white
photographs and the handcolored photographs are generally available
in either 11" x 14" (paper size) or 16" x 20",
but occasionally I make them in both sizes.
SPECIAL NOTE: In the fall of 2005 the manufacturer for my favored paper (for painting and for bromoil printing) went out of business, and as a result I can no longer finish printing the editions as numbered. Those I have now are all that I have, or will have. For this reason I have raised the prices on the remaining silver gelatin prints, and am offering any of the images in a new edition (limited to 50 or less): pigmented inks on watercolor paper, for a lower price.
